Indian Railway is our Identity. Indian Railway is providing us a livelihood, better standard of living and a classified social status. Its time for us to work towards the betterment of the image of the Railway at large. We are the Face of the Indian Railway. Let the Long wait for the arrival of an incarnation, a messiah, support of the other cadres, departments and much more come to an end.
Need for an Association
The most basic idea behind the formation of this association is to ensure seamless communication of our needs related to safe, efficient and optimal use of the available Railway Resources to ensure timely compliance of the policies / policy frameworks/ directives / instructions/ guidelines / orders of the Apex body of Indian Railway and the Government of India.
Lack of Role Clarity of the Workforce is a mammoth present day evil. This is a major cause for all the Organisational Evils. A Complex task can be solved, A Confusing Task can never be. Handling Confusing Tasks frequently and for a prolonged period is deleterious to the Organisational Health.
Overlapping Responsibilities (e.g. two workers given the same task), Unclear Roles and Reporting lines (e.g. unclear who is responsible for what or who is working to whom), Conflicting or Frequently Changing Expectations and Work Standards (e.g. Changing Deadlines or Contradictory Instructions), not being given with the information needed to do the job, or Unclear Work Priorities (e.g. not knowing which tasks are most important or urgent) are a few to be listed.
Why don’t we work together to fix up these issues in unison while achieving the organisational targets and a dignified work life, both hand in hand.
We need a strong base to start building up.
Uncertainties always Exists. Betrayal always Happen.
Our Integrity may be doubted. Our Demands may be Denied. Our team may be Victimised. Our Requirements may be Refuted. Our Cries may Fade.
A Dignified life Prevails amongst this.
All these efforts are not for me, not for him/her, it is for US. None else than you and me knows better about our woes.
We always hear about the rights of democracy, but the major responsibility of it is participation.
We need to be Participative than being Restrictive. Don’t let your fear of failing win over the joy of participating.
Our Silence have not been felt all the while. Let us spill out the beans, spell out our Stories.
